Wilbur
Rescued: May 2023
Two, sweet adorable baby pigs were rescued from slaughter! We named them Wilbur and Charlotte. Upon intake, Charlotte was failing to thrive and was taken to a top specialist. After many nights of treatment and around the clock care, she sadly passed away. While her passing devastating, especially for Wilbur, we were then able to open our doors and allow Penelope to join our family. Penelope and Wilbur were doing great together, but after a few weeks Penelope also got sick and did not make it through her illness. Although missing his mates, he is still thriving and growing so fast! He gets very excited at feeds and enjoys his outside pen.
