Gypsy came to us in June 2023 abused and terrified of people. Any movement around her startled her and she would move away to avoid contact. After many weeks, she slowly learned that she was in a safe environment and began to take food from our hands. She is now able to be touched very gently and is much less scared around human beings. She is still not 100% comfortable but we are continuing to work with her and let her know she is safe! She has made herself at home at The Phoenyx Farm and Sanctuary and has become best friends with Phoenyx and Nati!
